Just attended a wedding at this venue and whilst the wedding went off ok I was totally disgusted with the seating. The seats are far too small too low and the backs too rough as I found out when I arrived home and saw that my suit jacket was all pulled and had to be repaired. I would warn anyone going to this venue to be careful with their clothes. You won't realise the damage till it's too late.

I had to book at short notice and found this by accident very close to where I was working.
The location is great, just off the motorway, but gat enough not to hear any noise. It is a lovely old building that has great charm but also tastefully modernised.

Had a little difficulty finding this hotel. I'm glad we persevered as the hotel is lovely and the staff are first class. A little music in the bar would be nice, but that's nitpicking.

Easy to get and although not the most pleasant location - great landscaping makes it feel like you're away from it all. Standard rooms are a great size and the beds are huge and comfortable. I ate dinner and breakfast - both great quality and generous portions. All of the staff were all so lovely and helpful - it was always service with a smile. Special mention to Sue who went the extra mile - it was so appreciated. Would highly recommend.

I can't fault this hotel. Good sized, well equipped rooms. Clean. Food and service good. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable price. Lovely well maintained grounds.

Stayed here overnight for a wedding and they had the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. As we were checking in and going in our rooms housekeeping saw us and asked if we had everything we needed. Everything was spotless in the rooms and around the hotel and lots of choice for breakfast. All in all a brilliant stay!
